I designed this garden for Queen Elizabeth’s Foundation at RHS Hampton Court Flower Show in June 2015. It was awarded a Gold medal and Best in Category.
Named ‘A Different Point of View’ this garden was inspired by people with acquired brain injuries and the continuing need to look at the problems they face in new ways. It was a peaceful space, and constantly changed with the shafts of sunlight and reflections from the angled mirrors.
The garden was relocated to the Queen Elizabeth’s Foundation. Many of its users are going through intensive rehabilitation for brain injuries. Stepping into the garden feels like entering a quiet woodland edge.
